“What drives us is the passion for riding”
In 2015, Romain Olmos, a lifelong mountain bike enthusiast, created his own brand of mountain bike components in Annecy: HxR Components. After having been a pilot, mechanic, tester, product manager, then importer, he wants to offer new simple and effective solutions for all mountain bikers.
Passion
“I fell into the world of mountain biking by chance at 14 and it was love at first sight, everything interested me. The sporting side or the mechanics obviously but also how a bike is thought out and built. From this passion, I made it my job. Pilot, tester for magazines but also workshop manager or distributor of European artisanal brands. Each time, I wanted to rediscover the essence of cycling, to share the love of “riding”.”
Vision
HxR Components was therefore born from a passion of more than 20 years to offer quality products both visually and in the field. Our vision ? Shake up the codes and offer innovative, reliable, stylish and efficient products.
Mission
Our mission is simple: to think and develop innovative products, multi-standard compatible and easy to assemble. The goal is to provide simple and durable solutions for both the rider and the mechanics. An exceptional product that adapts to every way of riding.
Precision
To ensure that our products accompany you on all your outings, quality is a key word at HxR Components. Thus all products are tested and validated by Romain, because we must not forget that “what drives me is the passion for riding above all else”
Production
To grow while maintaining impeccable quality, HxR Components is proud to join forces with RadoxX Components. Created in 2020, located at the foot of the German Alps, RadoxX is a human-sized company with a philosophy of enthusiasts. RadoxX Components will support production with high quality machining, 100% done in-house at their German factory. Thanks to this partnership, we will also be able to work on larger projects such as OEM or more personalized projects.
